on a heavier note, i, joyene nazatul, got into an accident on sunday 12/6/2005 while i was rollerblading at paya lebar airbase as part of the national runway cycling 2005 event.
an acs(i) boy who was on a bicycle he couldn't control hit me from behind with such a force that i was flung off the ground. i landed really badly, head first then i scraped my right eye then rammed my right shoulder against the concrete floor.
i was brought from the airbase to the army medical centre, where, after a lot of screaming from me, i was brought to changi general hospital where they relocated my shoulder. turned out, i dislocated my right shoulder yet AGAIN, ruptured a few blood vessels in my eye and had abrasions on my right eyebrow and cheek. ytd, two days after the accident, my eye swelled so badly i couldn't even open it. tdy, three days after the accident, after much icing, i can finally open it but it isn't a nice sight. the right sight of my eye is bloodshot red, due to the ruptured vessels and the surrounding of my eye is a very freaky purple/black/blue/red. here, i have uploaded some pics of me and my very swollen eye, some taken in the hospital and some at home.

oh. and as a result of my accident, my hockey and bowling careers will most likely be flung out the window the way i got flung off the ground. can you tell? i'm devastated.
